I’m Jack, nice to meet you.

I’m a photographer, creative director, and brand storyteller based in North Carolina.

I grew up in Southern Pines and recently moved back after several years in New York, where I deepened my experience across photography, hospitality, creative direction, and brand strategy. That time sharpened my eye, expanded my perspective, and clarified the kind of work I want to make: work that feels intentional, emotionally resonant, and rooted in a strong sense of place.

Ever since I was young, I’ve been drawn to the idea of making life feel cinematic. I grew up on social media and YouTube, not just as entertainment, but as windows into other worlds. I loved the way certain images, edits, and stories could make ordinary moments feel charged with meaning. That instinct has stayed with me, but the work has matured. What started as fascination has become a practice built around atmosphere, storytelling, and the belief that strong visuals can shape the way people feel about a place, a brand, or a moment.

Today, I work with hospitality, lifestyle, and founder-led brands that have something real to say, but need a clearer, more compelling visual world around them. My approach sits at the intersection of photography, direction, and strategy: creating work that is not only beautiful, but useful- imagery and content that can build trust, spark desire, and help a brand feel more distinct.

I’m especially drawn to businesses with character: places with texture, point of view, and a sense of identity you can feel the moment you walk in. Restaurants, hotels, farms, ranches, interiors, founders, and brands shaped by atmosphere and experience all live naturally in my world.

I care about making things feel elevated, but never hollow. I want the work to have beauty, but also weight. Style matters to me, but so does substance. The goal is always the same: to create images and stories that make people feel something and remember it.

After years of building my perspective in New York, coming back to North Carolina has given the work a different kind of meaning. I’m especially interested now in partnering with businesses across the South, as well as select clients beyond it, whose quality, taste, and point of view deserve to be seen with more clarity, beauty, and intention.
